To the Centre Berlin Re: Local Chapter in Eisleben On Tuesday, 4 December I gave a lecture at a community meeting in Eisleben. There was a large audience, which also included interested friends from Hettstedt and Sandersleben who come to hear every speech I give. The subject was 'German-Jewish Existence Today And Tomorrow'. The moderator at the meeting, a teacher by the name of Mosbach, is doing a good job in organising the chapter. He certainly is more talented and more interested in leading the organisation than his predecessor, Herr Goldstein. In concluding he said that the speech, in which I naturally referred to Hannukah, had been an uplifting experience for the participants. The economic situation has improved compared to last year. Our friend, Attorney Dr. Koenigsberger, who was severely crippled in the war, was recently attacked in the middle of the street. His assailant, Dr. Mueller, a former major who is now a dentist and with whom he had a lawsuit in court, called him an impertinent Jewish scum and attempted to beat him. I have instructed that a complaint be filed in the name of Dr. Koenigsberger with the local disciplinary court of the local chapter of the German Officers Association. [Dr. Koenigsberger's] membership in the bar is still under consideration. He was disbarred because he had defended Communists in matters that had nothing to do with politics. His case is being represented by the National Socialist Association of War Invalids who are very committed to the case.
